Myrna M. Rivera Cardona
Myrna M. Rivera, C.I.M.A. is Founder and Principal Advisor of Consultiva Wealth Management (“Consultiva”), an independent investment advisory firm that develops, implements, and oversees investment strategies and policies for institutions, government entities, and individuals.
Myrna founded Consultiva in 1999. Recognized among the top 10 investment firms in the United States led by a woman, Consultiva is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (“UN PRI”). (“Global Compact”).
With over 40 years of experience in this field, Myrna and the Consultiva team work closely with various types of institutions: foundations and endowments, pension plans, insurers, cooperatives, state government entities, and unions, among others. Additionally, she advises a broad fabric of individuals and families on their financial, retirement, and investment planning.
Myrna graduated with high honors, with a Bachelor of Science and Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus, and a Master of Mathematics from Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University System of New York, CUNY. She has received several recognitions throughout her career for her leadership in the financial services industry, including the Joyce Johnson Award from the National Association of Securities Professionals for her contribution to improving the status of women and minorities in the financial sector in United States, and the Highest Leaf Award, from the Women’s Venture Fund of New York, for business excellence.
Myrna appears on lists such as the “Top 100 Influential Hispanics” by Hispanic Business Magazine and “Who’s Who in Investment Management Consulting” in the United States and, in June 2020, was recognized with the 2020 Zenit Award from the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce Rico for his contributions to the Financial Sector throughout his career.
